Your Experience
This house was originally an old hayloft which has recently been converted into a delightful cottage. It is located in a superb position, high in the hills, 15 km to the south-east of Lucca, and surrounded by olive groves and pine trees. There are fantastic views over the countryside and the plain of Montecatini in the distance.
Close to the pool area, there is a stone-built barbecue and pizza oven, an outdoor shower and an outdoor dining area. Near the driveway, about 20 metres from the house, there is small guesthouse with a double bedroom and bathroom. The secluded position and the fact that it is accessible by its private road ensure peace and tranquillity for the guests of Al Mennucci. This road lasts for 1 km and it is unsealed, therefore not suitable for low sport cars.
When you arrive you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a beautiful clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a splendid holiday in Tuscany. After a hectic day of visiting museums, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to relax at the end the day. Dining with friends and family is a big part of the Tuscan culture. Take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals using local produce while on your holiday. The kitchen includes coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to eight people. Dine 'al fresco' like a real Tuscan, the fully furnished veranda is the perfect setting to enjoy food, family and the nice Tuscan weather.
