Your Experience
This property is located in the fortified medieval hamlet of Volpaia, in the Chianti Classico area, in a secluded position ensuring complete privacy. It is just a 300 m walk to the centre of the hamlet, with 2 restaurants, one of which managed by the Castello di Volpaia farm, where it is possible to taste the local cuisine. Cooking classes are also arranged, on request, by the English-speaking local office.
When you arrive you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a beautiful clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a peaceful holiday in Tuscany. After a busy day of sightseeing, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to relax at the end the day. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to 11 people. If you prefer to dine 'al fresco', there is a fully furnished veranda where you can enjoy the weather while dining outdoors.

Our trip to Tuscany was a total delight, much of it enhanced by our 2 week stay at Pozza de Volpaia. The villa and adjoining town are utter perfection…. Providing us a warm and welcoming immersion into the culture of small-town Tuscan life.
The accomodations are first rate with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, and beautiful views from every room.
The vistas as seen from from the pool area are among the most beautiful we have seen in the area. Most evenings our group of seven would gather there to watch the sunset and revel in the beauty.
Our favorite part of the stay was our connection with Donika, the housekeeper, chef, advice-giver and overall historian and sage!
We hired her for 5 nights of chef services, served on the outdoor veranda. Her culinary skills were amazing… as good if not BETTER than many of the great restaurants we experienced, and at truly reasonable prices. If you stay here, make sure you hire her early in your stay, as you may want her to prepare your every meal!
A special surprise was the 1-minute walk to the quaint and charming town of Volpaia, with the winery Castelli de Volpaia, three stellar restaurants, and a pizza and gelato take-out spot. We loved it.
“Enchanting” was the word many of us used to describe our stay there. Highly, highly recommend!
