It offers itself also as a good spot for visiting the nearby towns and areas such as Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Carrara marble quarries and Florence.

Outdoor you'll have two spots, one to take a sunbath and the other, near the kitchen, to dine outdoors.

Großes Haus in toller Lage. Man ist unheimlich schnell mit den 4 Fahrrädern am Strand, ca. 4 Minuten. Bei mehr Personen kann man Roller gut mitnehmen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und bietet genügend Platz für 8-9 Personen. Es gibt unheimlich viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten im Umkreis von unter einer Stunde Fahrtzeit.
Leider ist es sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Man muss ausreichend lüften, da es sehr muffig ist. Wer italienisches (Bettzeug - Bettlaken und Wolldecke) nicht mag sollte sich selbst etwas mitbringen. Eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden, aber nur ein kleiner Wäscheständer. Im Herbst haben wir leider weder Dusch- noch Strandtücher und Badesachen trocken bekommen. Alles blieb sehr, sehr feucht/klamm. Alternativ hätten wir bei warmen Außentemperaturen das große, offene Haus heizen müssen, was Extrakosten verursacht hätte, und es ist unklar, ob es dann nicht noch muffiger gewesen wäre.
Wir haben uns dennoch eine schöne Woche gemacht und Danken Ian von Italica Rentals für den sehr angenehmen Empfang und die tollen Tipps für die Region.
Da im Oktober die Saison vorbei ist, ist eine Bewertung nicht aussagekräftig. Strand und Baden im Meer möglich, kaum Leute am Strand, daher ruhig und für uns positiv. Velotouren sind zu dieser Zeit sehr gut machbar. Die meisten Restaurants haben bereits geschlossen.

Die Villa Claudia besticht durch ihre ruhige Lage, durch ihre Nähe zum Strand und zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie durch ihren wunderbaren Garten. Wir (2 Ehepaare) waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier. Die Abwicklung und Betreuung durch Italica erfolgte (wie immer) professionell, freundlich und unkompliziert.

Nice family home in Massa with a great garden and location. Close to the beach but it does get quite hot in the property so would benefit from additional air con/fans.

Wie immer bedanken wir uns für die Bewertung und die daraus resultierenden Empfehlungen.
Die Gäste kamen drei Stunden vor Beginn des Check-ins an, und obwohl wir vereinbart hatten, dass sie gehen und die Reinigungsfirma putzen lassen würden, blieben sie dort und warteten auf sie – was zu Fehlern bei der Reinigung führte, weil sie sich unter Druck gesetzt fühlten. Das Haus liegt in einem Pinienwald am Meer, wo die Luftfeuchtigkeit sehr hoch ist, und die Gäste haben sich Ende Oktober entschieden, die Heizung nicht zu benutzen, was zu verschiedenen Unannehmlichkeiten führen kann.
Eines der Badezimmer wird 2026 renoviert sein.
Auf jeden Fall versuchen wir immer, unser Bestes zu geben – aber wir können nicht immer alle Standards der Gäste erfüllen.
Das Haus wird jedes Jahr etwas renoviert, und wir versuchen, immer auf dem neuesten Stand zu sein.
