Description
This holiday villa for rent forms a single complex with the adjoining medieval Tower. The two buildings are in a position of extraordinary beauty and can accommodate up to 14 people.
On the ground floor, the holiday villa in Tuscany, offers a large living-room, a dining room, a perfectly equipped kitchen, a single bedroom and two double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom. All three bathrooms have a shower, sink, WC and bidet.
On the upper floor are two living rooms – one with a large fireplace – a small study, a double bedroom, two rooms with twin beds and a laundry room. The two bathrooms, one with bath/shower and the other with shower only, have a sink, WC and bidet.
Next to the villa for vacation, which has an overall area of 240 sq.m,, is the fascinating 12th century Tower, 95 sq.m on five levels. The Tower was inhabited in the 15th century by the cartographer Paolo Toscanelli dal Pozzo, who had a decisive influence on Christopher Columbus’ decision to sail west in search of the East Indies.
Inside is an equipped kitchen with fireplace, a single bedroom, a living room, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, sink, WC and bidet.
Outside is a splendid private swimming pool with sunshade and deckchairs, surrounded by a superb green area equipped with table, chairs and barbecue.
The swimming pool, which is for exclusive use of the guests of the villa, measure 11.5 x 5.5 metres and is 1.5 deep. Open from May till October (depending on the weather). Filtration with chlorine.

Als elfköpfige Familie (3 Generationen) verbrachten wir eine sehr schöne Woche Anfang Oktober; die Unterkunft entsprach exakt der Beschreibung, bot ausreichend Platz mit vielen Zimmern, die sehr gut aufgeteilt waren, v.a. die Anzahl der Bäder ist positiv hervorzuheben. Im Turm war es ziemlich kalt, weshalb sich die dort Schlafenden mit einigen Decken ausstatteten. Die Ausstattung der Küchen ist gut, allerdings muss man alles für den Grundbedarf mitbringen (am besten auch eine eigene Kaffeemaschine!), der große runde Tisch mit Drehteller in der Mitte ist perfekt für so viele Personen (zum Essen und Spielen). Am besten ist natürlich das Außengelände - der große Garten mit Pool und ausreichend Liegen bot ideale Möglichkeiten zum Relaxen, auch wenn das Wasser um diese Jahreszeit schon recht kalt war und nur klitzekleine Badeaufenthalte ermöglichte ;-) Einen Grillplatz gibt es auch. Alles in allem können wir die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

Wij hebben het ontzettend fijn gehad in Gambassi Terme. Wij waren met een grote familie. 12 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. We hadden allemaal onze eigen slaapkamer en eigen badkamer. De eerste nacht was het koud dus hebben we de verwarming aangedaan. We verbleven eind april. De avonden daarna hebben we genoten van de houtkachel tot dit niet meer nodig was. We gingen van 19 naar 27 graden buiten! De accommodatie is groot, je hebt alle ruimte en het uitzicht is prachtig (panoramisch). Francesca is de keyholder en met haar hadden wij dagelijks contact. Zij is geweldig!! Ze heeft ons verwelkomt. Gaf ons tips over de omgeving. We hebben twee wijnproeverijen via Francesca gedaan. Ze heeft restaurants voor ons gereserveerd. Wij waren er ook met Pasen en Bevrijdingsdag en dan zijn de winkels dicht. Francesca maakte ons hier op attent. Als er iets is kun je bij Francesca terecht en zij reageert direct. Over de toren waren wij iets minder enthousiast. Wel was alles hier ook heel netjes.
