Description
Recharge harmony, peace and freedom in an elegant mountain hut in the forest.
At a height of over 1100m in a clearing are a total of 3 houses - about 20m away, belongs to locals who spend most of the weekend here and another about 100m further, usually only 2-3x per year inhabited.
And then the alpine hut, small and elegant, built and furnished with selected and valuable materials. Up to 6 people can spend an authentic holiday here and yet do not give up the usual comfort.
In the next village you can rent an e-bike, hike, fish, learn how to cook polenta or just relax, read and breathe nature.
That's why you will not find a TV or internet here.
But here you will find the silence of nature, overlooking the majestic mountain and society of the animals of the forest.
They all bring us into another dimension of body and mind.
If you are lucky enough to arrive just when different vegetables are ripe, you can use it directly from the garden, which the owner lovingly nurtures and take in the idyllic view of a thoroughly Dolomite food.
The house has no heating, so it is not rented in winter.
Electricity is provided by solar technology.
Heating can be done in the fireplace.
In the kitchen as from yesteryear a wonderful wood stove.
Cooking fires - gas. Minimum stay 3 days, in August 1 week. Dogs allowed.
The house is furnished with fine natural materials, large panoramic windows offering unforgettable views of the sunset in the mountains, the seating area equipped with comfortable cushions.
The living area leads into the open kitchen, next to it as the only completed bedroom with a queen size bed and the shower room.
On the open gallery on the first floor a French and a double bed.
In mid-June to mid-October there is a restaurant about 700m away and 1.5km another, shopping and other restaurants in Comano Terme or 13km away in Stenico.

Our 10 day stay at the hideaway cabin in Val Algone in midst of the Brenta geopark was a very special experience. The cabin is great for a couple or small family that wants to get away from it all without sacrificing any comfort of living. So much to do and explore without the crowds. It is nature at its best and purest. It is exploring challenging hikes with amazing awe-inspiring mountain scenery. Stargazing at night, taking in the peace and quietness and yet not too far away from historic places, museums or well-known places to go sight-seeing, stroll around and make a day of it. The cabin itself is being off the grid without losing out on any comforts. It offers everything a household would need to function. The shower offers good water pressure and hot temperature to relax those tired muscles after a day of hiking. The cabin is well insulated, but should the outside temperatures drop, or one just wants that cabin feeling, it has been ever so special to start up the fireplace at night. Everything is clean, pristine, functioning and in immaculate condition. The beds, mattresses and pillows are top notch. The environment and furnishings are warm and welcoming. Carlo and Michaela are there to answer any questions and happy to help with recommendations on activities, local activities, shopping, or suggesting great restaurants around. Communication in English was not a problem.
All around an exceptional experience, rain or shine. A very beautiful place on earth.

Beautiful, remote peaceful location, excellent quality interior and facilities. Wildflowers and butterflies all around. Carlo very helpful. Low ceiling upstairs could be a problem for tall people.
