The Villa is placed in a dominant area next to Scopello, in western Sicily. The area around the property has a very high landscape value with its bays and crystal waters, classified by the European Community as Site of Community Importance (SCI) and Special Protection Area (SPA). Villa Livreri is an elegant property with private pool, designed in a modern architectural style. The furniture is sober and sophisticated at the same time and all is very accurate in every detail. Its location offers a beautiful view over the entire coast of Castellammare del Golfo, thanks also to the suggestive panoramic terrace. The villa extends over two levels: the ground floor overlooks two comfortable verandas, where the guests can enjoy a relaxing stay, the view over the sea and the nature surrounding the villa. The house is accessed from a bright and spacious living room including a fully equipped kitchen. On the same floor there are a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a shared bathroom with shower. A comfortable staircase leads to the first floor with three double bedrooms, one of these has a big balcony with sea view and an en-suite bathroom. There is the possibility to add a single bed into two of three bedrooms, which result in two triple bedrooms. Next to the bedrooms there is another bathroom with shower. The property has an independent access, a very big natural garden scattered with milky white rocks, where the guest can enjoy the gorgeous private pool and beautiful panoramas. The stunning panoramic view over the Gulf of Castellammare and the Bay of Scopello is framed by large windows embellishing the villa. The landscape becomes the leitmotif which gives guests a feeling of peacefulness. Villa Livreri is the ideal accommodation for tourists and it’s the perfect spot for visiting the beautiful landscape of Western Sicily: in just few km you will reach Castellammare del Golfo, the medieval village of Erice, the city centers of Trapani and Marsala in which you can visit saltworks with their ancient mills, the Greek sites of Segesta and Selinunte and the Egadi Islands. Villa Livreri is halfway between Trapani and Palermo airports (50 km ca. from both of them).

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Sicily. For check in, we were led to the villa (following in our hire car). We were grateful of this as on Apple Maps etc the location is not too accurate, the nearest location/road on maps will not take you directly to the villa. But, after following on that first trip, we had landmarks to remember the correct turns etc. The route to the villa is up steep winding roads, but, you cannot get that beautiful view or total peace without a drive out of the town - so we were pleased with our choice. This does mean that a car is essential though really.
We found ‘market scopello’ to be very helpful, a 10 minute drive away for a little supermarket and there is also a nice restaurant next door where you can get pizza/pasta to takeaway or eat in. All the food was lovely!
We were grateful of air con in each of the bedrooms, this made for a comfortable sleep - but there is no air con for the kitchen/dining area. The pool was lovely and also large family table.

Die Aussicht des Hauses ist überragend und das Haus ist wie beschrieben. Leider gebe ich insgesamt "nur" 4 Sterne, weil innen noch etwas Persönlichkeit fehlt um auch die Akustik im Haus etwas zu optimieren. Durch die exponierte Lage war es etwas windig und im September wird es dann kalt. Dafür fehlt innen noch eine gemütliche social Area. Außen wäre auch noch eine Lounge schön und ein paar Dinge für mehr Gemütlichkeit. Die Gastgeberin ist super hilfreich und zuvorkommend und alles lief sehr reibungslos. Die Fahrt zum Haus ist sehr schön und über einen langen Kiesweg. Ein Auto und die Bereitschaft zum Fahren sind also unbedingt ratsam. Insgesamt war es ein sehr sehr toller Aufenthalt!

Deze villa boek je voor de rust, de omgeving maar vooral voor het uitzicht. Het uitzicht (vooral vanaf de veranda) is zo mooi, dat is op foto niet vast te leggen. Alleen daarom al is het absoluut het boeken waard. De villa was nieuw, netjes, verzorgd en alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig. 1 tip. Huur alvast een auto bij het vliegveld, dat is makkelijker om bij de villa te komen.
