Its current form dates back to the mid-nineteenth century, when it was decided to elegantly unify the ancient pre-existing structures formed over time. Villa Pisani Bonetti, by Andrea Palladio, built between 1544 and 1545, is considered the youthful masterpiece of Andrea Palladio and is included in the "World Heritage List" - the list of the 400 most important architectural complexes in the world - a cultural recognition of UNESCO which since 1996 has started a project for the protection of Palladian works.
